About Us

Our mission

“O praise the Lord, all you nations: praise him, all you people.”

The presence of multiple multinational companies and the existence of two international schools, namely the IPS Violenschool and the International School of Hilversum, along with several bilingual primary and secondary schools, led to the need for religious services in Hilversum catered to Catholic, English-speaking individuals, and families with children.

Established over two decades ago, the International Community of St. Vitus plays a crucial role in uniting families from diverse countries. Through the celebration of Mass and the provision of religious instruction for children, we aim to create a sense of community and a welcoming space for newcomers to Hilversum, as well as a supportive environment for those who have chosen to make it their home.

An Invitation

The St. Vitus-Willibrord Parish extends a warm invitation for you to become a part of its international community. We encourage you to register yourself and your family using the following link: International Community Registration Form. Please be aware that this registration is specifically for the international community, not the St. Vitus-Willibrord Parish. If you plan on residing in Hilversum for an extended period, we also recommend registering with the parish.

For further details about activities within the international community, please feel free to reach out to Elizabeth. To subscribe to our community newsletter, kindly send an email to internationalcommunity@vitus.nl
